Door Supervisor Services

Door supervisors, regularly referred to as bouncers, door staff or doormen, are essential for the safety and security of your venue. Good door supervisors have the ability to keep a professional, helpful and calm attitude at all times, even in stressful and busy circumstances. This is to keep the safety and security of the public while on the premises.

British Standard BS 7960 defines a door supervisor as “a person employed by any person responsible for the management of any licensed premises or event, who has the authority of the owner, licensee, manager or organiser, exclusively or mainly to decide upon the suitability of customers to be allowed on to the premises, and/or to maintain order and public safety”.

Door supervisors to meet your needs

At iGuard Security, we understand that every venue has different needs. Whether you need one or multiple door supervisors, door supervisors for a single event or on a regular basis, our specialist security team will easily fit your requirements.

As we don’t require minimum hours of contract, you can rest easy, knowing that you can contract our door security services for as little or long as you need.

Our door supervision responsibilities

iGuard Security’s door staff are required to remain in control of the door and your patrons’ behaviour in your venue. Through doing this, our door staff undertake two distinct roles:
Preventing members of the public from entering your venue if:

  • They appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
  • They fail to conform to the dress code of your venue
  • They’re well-known as troublemakers
  • They’re banned from your venue or are subject to an exclusion order
  • They’re unable to pay any required admission fee
  • They’re underage

Our door supervision responsibilities

Our door supervisors also share your responsibility for controlling the number of people admitted into your venue, ensuring you comply with Local Authority and occupancy figure requirements.
iGuard Security door supervisors additionally monitor the behaviour of patrons inside the venue and will deal with people who:

  • Threaten the safety of your other patrons
  • Put your management’s licence at risk
  • Spoil the atmosphere and experience of your other patrons
  • Breach house rules, criminal or licensing laws

Ensuring you have a fully qualified, professional and experienced door supervisor will make managing your venue significantly easier. To discuss your requirements, talk to one of our security professionals today on 020 7123 4568 or contact us online.
